ARK: Survival Evolved

Server Rules

By playing on ARK NOVA you automatically accept these rules. The administration may change them without notice. Other players breaking the rules does not justify your own violations.

General rules

  • 1.1Cheats and third-party software granting an advantage are forbidden.
  • 1.2Griefing and trolling are forbidden (walling players in on PVE, abusing mechanics to ruin the game).
  • 1.3Bugs, exploits, dupes and glitches are forbidden (exception: standard mechanics and the grapple glitch).
  • 1.4Selling/trading in-game valuables for real money is forbidden.
  • 1.5Building inside the mesh is forbidden (exception: tek chestpiece and Sinomacrops).
  • 1.6Impersonating an admin/support is forbidden.
  • 1.7Manipulating tribe rating points is forbidden.
  • 1.8Floating foundations from the Aquatica DLC are forbidden (exception: hatches and standard mechanics).
  • 1.9Account sharing is forbidden.
  • 1.10Intentionally causing mass lag is forbidden.
  • 1.11Dealing damage through the mesh (Mek/Titan/Giga/Karkinos/Reaper) is forbidden (violation at 3+ repeats).
  • 1.12Invisible/invulnerable/70%+ in-mesh structures are forbidden (removed without warning).
  • 1.13Open turrets hidden in bushes/concealed spots after PVP/farming are forbidden.
  • 1.14Anchoring structures to the world border is forbidden.

PVP / PVE rules

  • 2.1Turrets near obelisks / spawn points are forbidden.
  • 2.2Boats/rafts with turrets near obelisks / spawn points are forbidden.
  • 2.3Pre-placed sleeping bags in caves are forbidden.
  • 2.4Raiding through textures and the mesh is forbidden (exception: game mechanics).
  • 2.5Raiding with dino corpses is forbidden.
  • 2.6Luring wild dinos onto an enemy base/turrets is forbidden.
  • 2.7Teaming beyond the tribe limit for PVP is forbidden.
  • 2.8Any unions and alliances for PVP are forbidden.
  • 2.10Cheating during trades or boss fights is forbidden.
  • 2.11Destroying your own structures during/at the end of a raid to deny points is forbidden.
  • 2.12Moving turrets/structures/base contents during a raid is forbidden (exception: key blueprints/items if you have a second base).
  • 2.13Changing tribe composition during defense/attack is forbidden.
  • 2.14Using tunnels to bypass turrets is forbidden (exception: platform saddles).
  • 2.15Tribes may not have more than two large bases at the same time.

Discord rules

  • 3.1Flooding, spam and off-topic posting are forbidden.
  • 3.2Malicious links, photos and videos are forbidden.
  • 3.3Shocking, sexualized or offensive content is forbidden.
  • 3.4Loud sounds, disruptive music and noise in voice are forbidden.

⚠ Warning system

An admin may issue a permanent ban without warning and judges the severity of a violation at their own discretion. The warning system is a guideline, not an exact countdown to a ban. Attempts to provoke warnings against others, mass reports without evidence, and ticket spam are punished up to a permanent ban.
